Academy Squad play a blinder

A return to winning ways....The game started with just one 'adult' on the pitch for Hertford (Jon Durbin) the rest all academy players.
Watching those first few minutes was fantastic, as the team played their 'A' game - passing, moving & attacking - a great start that overran the competition. The only coaching comment is when in & around the D, you can take some risks, try to fire the ball in or upgrade.
When I came on, the squad nicely delivered a beautiful passing move from the back, through midfield & a great assist from Ewen for a simple sweep in for me. Te second goal was similar with an assist from Rian. That was the first half - 2:0 up. We probably deserved a few more; but great to be so solid in defense & able to attack at will. The midfield had a particularly strong game - a thank you to Alan Ross (Man of the Match) for a superb back of the diamond performance - he was always available & when he had it, the squad always gave him at least 2 or three options. A brilliant display by all.
So guys, it really came together this w/e - remember it....when we passed with pace & accuracy we were seriously dangerous.
