A reduced team took on Shefford & Sandy - a combination of injury & passing players up the club.
There was some great play by Hertford - good moves from defence, through midfield up to the forwards, but we failed to convert the pressure we applied. Shefford scored one in both halves, both fluid movements leading to a pass into the D that was swept away.
The first half seemed a bit flat, the opposition winning most of the 50/50 balls, a few people on their heels & too many being very quiet. The second half saw Hertford raise their game, there was greater energy, a willingness to get stuck in & better off the ball communication - this led to concerted pressure that unfortunately we didn't capatilise on.
Still onwards & upwards - keep that second half approach & we will win more regularly!
Congratulations to Ed Hartley who put in a great shift & was voted Man of the Match
