Hertford V's narrowly lose to Blueharts 6

As ever, we were well up for this game - Blueharts had been scoring for fun, with their version of a development squad - we wanted to demonstrate our skills
The first 15 mins we were all over them - great examples of how we like to play, good passing & everyone going for it.
However, Blueharts were clinical, roughly 2 chances = 2 goals. So we went in at half time 2 down. We won the second half we Andy Durbin finishing a decent move.
We could & perhaps should have won - Ewen, great skills again around the keeper & just put it wide; I shot wide; Andy Benson (joining us this week) just went over the back board on a penalty corner; Rian (as ever taking up a great position) just unable to convert.
So plenty to be pleased about.
Lots of strong performances. I won't single anyone out because I think the core dev squad had a strong game - well done all - Andy Durbin picking up a well deserved Man Of the Match
Our focus will be how to maintain the intensity & quality of passing of those first 15 minutes & the majority of the second half.
Well done all...about time we put a hat-full of goals together...
