Terrific win for the V's - 7:2 v Broxborne

Probably the best display of hockey this year - well done all
Great passing hockey undid a useful Broxborne team
Although we conceeded goals at the start of both halves we never let our heads go down & fluid passing won us the game.
Of particular note - great interplay between the midfield - Noah, Archie & Rian + a sterling performance from Dave Harding & Luke Godwin (Man of the Match!). The interplay was suitably supported by Josh (some great 3D skills) & Ewen (superb solo runs creating havoc). All backed up with great defensive work from Rob, Dorian, Ed, with able assistance from Chris & Andy D.
Some cracking goals with a fair few assists flying around...Luke Godwin snaffled the first; Rian finished one brilliantly & Ewen got on the end of a great passing move. The team made it easy for me to put away 4 (thank you) - simply great passing led to great chances.
Well done all - enjoy Christmas & I look forward to seeing that sort of display in the New Year
