Gritty fightback from Development Team

A sluggish start saw us go down one nil early in the first half as we took a while to adapt to the Frederic Osbourn pitch. After that we settled down a bit and when we got some passing going, we got some decent moves down the right. We drew level from a short corner when Joseph received and passed to Dorian who passed to Luke who passed to Arthur Twyning to deflect the ball home. We then fell asleep to conceded a second and went in at half-time 2-1 down. We upped our game in the second half and really caused problems when we linked simple passes to stretch their defence. We drew level hen Luke Kennedy slotted the ball under the keeper. We had the best of the play in the second half but still had to rely on Geoff for a coupe of smart saves to keep the scores level. A shot blocked on the line resulted in a flick for Hertford but Luke's shot came off the post and ran along the goal line but failed to cross it. We continued to press and we at last edged in front when Luke passed to Arthur who crossed the ball across the goal to Joshua Over on the far post to calmly slot the ball home. We avoided too many scares as we saw the game out to win 3-2 following a good second half fightback to take the three points..
