Development Team shot down by Royston

A tough game against a very well organised Royston team. A close first half with the highlights being two saves by Clive in goal, one a hand-head combo to push the ball over the bar, and a chance for Arthur at the far post but the first half ended goalless. More of the same in the second half, Royston defending in numbers, stifling our creativity and we struggled to create chances and when we did, we seemed to be a bit shy of shooting. Luke Kennedy hit the post from a short corner and that was the closest we got. Royston went ahead from short corner, and we couldn't find a way past their defence - they parked the bus! Going down 1-0 against a good team wasn't a bad result but we lacked the experience or edge to create chances against well organised defence.
