A tough game against a strong Potters Bar team, who were well organised and moved the ball well. We weren't at our best in the first half, but worked hard and probably edged possession and territory, but our defence had to be well organised and disciplined to keep the opposition at bay. The second half saw us pose more of a threat and a close passing move saw the dangerous Arthur Twyning finishing from close range. Space opened up as Potters Bar tired before we did, and Howie added two to run out 3-0 winners. Another good team performance and a tremendous work rate from players, and top marks to the defence - Joseph Mari, Jack Timms and Ed Hartley who kept a dangerous frontline at bay.
