A win at Last for Men's 5s

A win at last and fully deserved. Welcoming our new players we were always the better side but we managed to keep the game competitive until near the end. We dominated the first half with everyone playing well but the final pass was too often a hit and hope so we turned round just one up from Ciaran.

In the second half Berko had a few chances but Sam just stopped everything and when Ciaran showed how short corners should be taken, slamming the ball straight in, we relaxed and played it around. Rian and Tor enjoyed the extra space and the young Robs stormed forward. Archie scored the third with a classy flick and then Chris Duncan finally got on the end of yet another cross to complete the scoring.

A good day all round but we will play stronger opposition. Thanks to all who played and mastered the complicated subs routine.
