A good solid performance this week against a team who could have caused an upset. Good to have Nick and Richard back in the side who both slotted in nicely, and a first appearance for Vijay in goal.
As a team we are developing a strong core and that is giving us the ability to adapt well to the personnel changes necessary of a 4th team.
4:0 up at half time there’s always a danger that a team looses shape and everyone suddenly thinks they can make the killer pass and score at will !
We did that a bit but on the whole we maintained a better shape in the second half and pushed Winchmore Hill back into their half for long periods, and credit to them with a young side and a few senior players they only conceded the one goal in the second half.
Another game where everyone worked hard with goals from Alex, Chris, Matt and James to gave us the win, but again a very solid defence.
Close for MOM this week but Nick gets it well done.
