11 goal thriller

An 11 game thriller against an undefeated Letchworth, Hertford come out on the right side of a 7:4 game.
We set out from the start to dominate the midfield, with Matt E, Tom, Ed, Chris S, Alex, Oli and Matthew all playing their part breaking with pace throughout the game not giving Letchworth a chance to get settled.
The first goal came fairly early on well taken by James followed by a second from Alex, Letchworth came back following a well taken short corner. Half time saw us go in 2:1 up.
The Second half started with a Letchworth equaliser only for Matt to put us back in front once again, Letchworth came back again to make it 3:3. It’s was at this point that Hertford took the game away from Letchworth with goals from Matt 2, Chris D and Tom. Letchworth got one back from another short corner to finish up 7:4.

This was our best team performance so far despite regular changes of personal, the defence was once again tough to beat with With Tony, Matt W and Andy, as always backed up by Tony in goal
