A good Battling Draw

It was good to welcome John Hartley back (minus three teeth) but we were a bit light without the dynamic trio of Howie, Jeremiah, and Thomas. But we worked our socks off in this top-of-the-table clash, clashing the ball down and snuffing out most of the threats Cheshunt had for us. Sam was great in goal, making a couple of smart saves and bossing the defence. James and Sam worked their socks off in defence - I think James cleared the ball away when Sam had been beaten. And up front, Luke G, Luke R and Archie ran their hearts out chasing the ball, making runs on the break, and really putting in a shift.
It was a good tough match, and everyone worked hard against a good Cheshunt team. The Development Team is still unbeaten with half the season gone. Another tough game next week but its been great fun so far.
