Comfortable win in derby match

A bright start for the team today, moving the ball around well. Hertford looked strong from the start and were awarded a flick early on when a shot on goal struck a foot. Howie dispatched the flick comfortably for a 1-0 lead. Unfortunately the match was stopped for 20 minutes soon after when a Broxbourne player took a ball on his head. Afterwards Broxbourne had to defend for long stretches with their 10 players. Doug scored a couple, and then Max played a simple ball up the line to Archie and following some lovely passing interplay Archie finished off a fantastic passing move. 4-0 at half-time, but we rather lost concentration n the second half as we got the tents out and camped for long periods in the Broxbourne half. Jeremiah scored a good solo goal and, despite numerous opportunities, we couldn't add to the score s we ran out 5-0 winners. All credit to Broxbourne for battling hard with 10 men. Another three points for Hertford, but we need to up our performance in the matches to come.,
