The 3s second game of the season against Bedford resulted in a 2-1 win.
For the second game in a row Hertford were half asleep for the first 10mins and quickly conceded a goal and for the rest of the half the teams stayed locked together. After half time Josh Scott managed to score his first senior goal to make it 1-1 and despite protest from the Bedford players on whether the ball went 5 metres before entering the D. Bedford continued to protest at every umpiring decision for the rest of the game. 10 minutes later a break away counter attack resulted in James Price making it 2-1. The Hertford defence stayed strong as multiple balls went whizzing past the back post and with 2 minutes left Nick Metcalfe dribbled the length of the pitch into the opposite corner allowing Hertford to get a vital 3 points in a very heated game.
