Youth Section Ready for United World Games 2016

Departing on Thursday

In just two day’s time, the Hertford Hockey Junior’s will leave for Austria and the United World Games 2016 for the second season in the row. They will compete at a number of different levels over the 3 days. (U10 Mixed, U12 Boys, U12, U14 Girls and U16 Girls)

They will be competing against teams from countries, including Germany, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Ukraine, Netherlands and Belgium.

Saturday 18th June Tournaments and Players Party/Gala Dinner
Sunday 19th June Finals and Farewell

The squad has been training over the last 6-8 weeks and at their last session on Sunday they where joined by 3 of the Great Britain Ladies team, Maddie Hinch (87 Caps), Alex Danson (225 Caps) and Hannah McLeod (139 Caps). They gave an inspirational talk about the game and then took the squad for the final part of the their training session. A great experience for the whole squad.
