Hertford Hockey Club is delighted to announce the return of Iain and Luke ahead of the new season, with both players bringing valuable experience, quality and plenty of excitement to the squad.

As preparations continue for the upcoming campaign, the club is thrilled to welcome two familiar faces back to Hertford colours.
Welcome back, Iain!

Iain returns to Hertford after completing his university studies and will be a welcome addition to the squad for the season ahead.

Known for his unrivalled pace, Iain brings a genuine attacking threat and the ability to turn defence into attack in an instant. His speed and energy will undoubtedly give Hertford another exciting option going forward, and we're looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch in Hertford colours.

Having previously represented the club, Iain already knows what Hertford Hockey is all about, and his return is another positive addition as the squad continues to take shape ahead of the new season.

Welcome back, Luke!

Luke's return to Hertford Hockey Club is another exciting story, with his hockey journey coming full circle.

Having originally developed through Hertford Hockey Club as a junior, Luke went on to gain valuable experience at a higher level after leaving the club, including playing National League hockey.

More recently, Luke has been playing for South Berkshire HC in the South West Premier Division, continuing to test himself against strong opposition and gaining further experience at a competitive level.

Now returning to where his hockey journey began, Luke brings a wealth of experience and quality back to Hertford. His return is particularly special for the club, highlighting the strength of the junior pathway and the connection that players continue to have with Hertford long after leaving.

The return of both Iain and Luke adds further strength and depth to the squad ahead of what promises to be an exciting season.

With Iain's electric pace and Luke's experience at both National League and Premier Division level, Hertford will benefit from two players who know the club and are eager to make an impact.
