Men's Teams Lose In Top of the Table Clash, But Ladies 4's Win

Ladies

Ladies 1’s suffered a heavy home defeat to leaders Old Loughtonians 2’s, as they lost 4-0 after conceding after 75 seconds

Ladies 2’s continued their winning run and moved up to third in the table with a 4-1 win over Bishops Stortford III.

Ladies 3’s also closed the gap on second place St.Neots II with a 2-1 away win at Chiltern II, with goals from Izzy Wing and Becca Willis

Ladies 4’s finally recorded a win against Stevenage V, 4-1.

Ladies 5’s won 3-1 at Rickmansworth II, and moved level on points with Bedford V. Two goals from Leah Hawkins and one from Jules Hawkins.

The Ladies O35’s travelled to play Redbridge on Sunday to play East London in the Ladies O35’s Shield and progressed to the next round with a 5-0 win. With two goals from Helen Owen and one from Vanessa Stembridge, Becks Ellis and Kim Hellery. They now have a home draw on the 5th Feb against Redbridge

Men

The Men’s 1's, missing 6 regulars, finally lost their unbeaten home record against leaders Berkhamsted 2-4, with goals from Luke Kennedy and Ben Tootell with a penalty stroke.

The Men’s 2’s had a smash and grab 1-0 win at Berkhamsted with Graham Sparrey scoring his first goal for the club. The win takes them into the top half of the table.

Men’s 3’s finally returned to winning ways with a 3-0 home win against Bedford IV, thanks to a hat-trick from Arthur Twyning and moved back into third place.

The Men’s 4’s close their top of the table game with Shefford & Sandy III, in a closely fought game, the only game came from a short corner.

The Men’s 5’s also lost 2-0 at Shefford and Sandy IV, but deserved to get more from the game.

Finally the Men’s 6’s lost a late game at West Herts VII 1-3, with their goal coming from Kash Govindasawamy
