Volunteering for Hertford Hockey Club

Volunteering for Hertford Hockey Club

Our hockey club is founded and maintained by the amazing and dedicated volunteers who freely give of their time. Without their huge collective contributions, the club simply wouldn’t and couldn’t function. However, we need more people to help this core group of volunteers.

We encourage all our members to get involved in volunteering. Whether it’s umpiring games, supporting the coaching of our juniors, assisting with social events, managing the daily running of the club, or simply cheering our teams on - our volunteers are indispensable to us and we would be lost without them. These days we all know time is precious, and even if you can give 1 to 2 hours per week to help with the running of the club, it would be time gratefully received and welcomed.

You don’t need to be a member of the hockey club to help out; we welcome parents, grandparents, boyfriends, girlfriends, friends and any other willing people you may know! And if you have a skill set that you think would really help the club, we'd love to know more. Some skill sets that would be really helpful to us are detailed below. If you believe you can or know someone who can help with one of these roles, or in another way, please contact the relevant individual or for general volunteering requests please contact the club chair - all email addresses are on the Contacts page.

Become the newest member of the Stags volunteer family by signing up to volunteer and you'll be helping the club continue its success story!

Thank you.
