The U10s team is a mix of players, some of whom have been playing for a year or two previously and some who are new to hockey. This is a great age to give hockey a go as the U10s tend to learn skills quickly and it is easy to see a real difference in the players' ability as the season progresses.
The training sessions are a mix of learning the basic skills of the sport, and introduction to playing in a team, together with a lot of fun.
Training is from 10am sharp to 11am on Saturday mornings at Simon Balle astro. In addition, the U10s play matches on Sundays once or twice a month.
The Club has had lots of success with this age group over recent years, with the U10 boys being County Champions in 2011/12, and County Runners Up in 2016/17.
The lead coach is Alec Short.
