Summer League Hockey

 

We have a Ladies' and a Mixed team in the Broxbourne Summer Leagues, with matches on various weekday evenings between now and August.

New keepers wanted for 2009/10 season, particularly for the Ladies' section

Keepers' subs only £15, all kit provided!

 

 

 

 

 

Hertford HC is based at Balls Park in Hertford and runs eight teams:  4 Mens and 4 Ladies. There is also a growing youth section who train on a Saturday Morning. The Mens teams and the Ladies 1st team play in the East hockey League. Ladies 2nd to 4th teams play in the Five counties league. 

 

Hertford Hockey Club are very active with a great atmostphere on and off the pitch. There are regular social events including the ever popular Beer and Curry night and of course the end of season dinner, which is one not to miss! 

 


 

 

Annual subscriptions

 

  • £95 for adults
  • £10 for goalkeepers and £10 for all f/t students.
  • Youth Subscriptions: U-18 and in work £45; U18 not in work £10. Family membership minimum subscription - one full paying adult plus one child subscription. Extra children free.
 
New Players
Hertford Hockey club always welcome new players of all standards. If you're looking to start playing hockey, recently moved to the area or thinking of getting back into playing then come along to one of the training sessions on a Tuesday or Thursday night which start at 8pm. Training
Pre-season training starts on Thursday, August 7, 2008 (open to all!). Training on August 14 and 21 is likewise for all; the session on August 28 is for Men's/Ladies 1s and 2s only. The  normal pattern then applies from the first week of September. Men's and Ladies' 3rd and 4th teams 8pm on a Tuesday night, Men's and Ladies' 1st and 2nd teams 8pm on Thursday nights. Please arrive for for an 8pm prompt start!
