Southgate Tankards 'Y' 4 - 0 Hertford VI

Short corner count 16 - 1, that says it all. Another heroic effort from Nick and the defense, all 4 came from short corners (one early in each half, two near the end).

Great effort all round, with everyone tracking back and marking hard, we matched them pretty well for large parts of the first half, with some neat builds up the right, but we began to fade after the break. A handful of breakaway moves for Chris and Dave, Aodhan ran tirelessly off the ball but we rarely got any decent ball to him, Dave contributed our shot on target from our one short corner. Chris swept one inches wide near the end after a lovely build up.

We won't face sides like that too often!
