Morning all. Final details for those going to the U8 d tournament on Sunday :-)
first games start at 10.15am. Each game is 10 minutes one way and the turnaround time between games is 2 mins. please all do your best to make sure teams are ready as required so each game can start and finish on time.
They will be playing to the usual U8 format – 4 a side and two goal at each end to encourage full use of the pitch. Letchworth also ask that when the defensive team has a “16 yard hit” all the attacking side retreat to the half way line. This just gives the defensive team some space to move the ball out of defence.
There will be umpires provided but be prepared to umpire your own games if needed.
Parking is available on site –but if you do need to park on the road outside please be considerate to our neighbours. In addition, teas and coffees plus soft drinks, sweets and biscuits will be available from the tuck shop in the clubhouse.
