Great Performance from U8s

Hertford took two U8 teams for this tournament, with the players divided to make equally strong teams.
The A team started strongly drawing 1-1 against Southgate, with Henry scoring the goal, then slipped up 2-0 against a strong Blueharts team before getting into gear to win 4-1 against a different Blueharts team, with Cate (2), Sabrina and Aaron scoring the goals. In theor final match they ran out 1-0 winners against another Blueharts game, with Alex scoring the winner. Some excellent hockey played, improving from the last tournament, and an excellent debut by Olivia. Team: Cate, Sabrina, Aaron, Henry, Olivia, Alex.
The B team were in fine form, seeing Southgate 2-0 with Emily and Jess scoring the goals. Despite dominating possession and territory, the team couldn't find a way past a determined Letchworth side. Normal service was resumed with Lois scoring in a 1-0 win against Harpenden, and a 2-0 win againt Blueharts with Emily and Lois scoring. Jess scored in a 1-0 win against Royston, and the team finished the day with a 1-0 over Southagte with Jess scoring against. Some excellent play, god stick skills and tenacious tackiling.
