Girls U10 Competition @ Blueharts, Sunday Oct25th

With 3 teams representing Hertford HC Girls U10s last Sunday, organisation was paramount and it was impressive to see Matt Earle and Nick Evans in action. The girls are lucky to have such enthusiastic, friendly and talented coaches!

Hertford performed really well, especially as a number of the girls were playing their first ever match or indeed had only just joined this season AND playing their first ever match! The girls approached every match with great enthusiasm and appetite to emerge victorious, and overall this was achieved with the A Team winning all 3 matches by comfortable margins against good teams including 2 victories against Blueharts A and B teams.

Nick was not entirely sure which team was Hertford B and which was Hertford C, so my apologies if I get the result the wrong way round as they had to play each other. The important thing is that Hertford won the match!!

So, here are all the scores below together with goalscorers. Again, please accept my apologies if I've missed off any scorers as it was my first outing as Team Manager too, and I will need to get better at capturing all the details, especially when we have two matches going on concurrently!

Overall Hertford won 6 of the 9 matches played, drew 1 and only narrowly lost the other 2, very impressive indeed. Well done to all the girls who participated!
