The U12s are a mix of players who have developed good core skills, and players new to the game. It isn't to late to start hockey - one of our best Junior players who captains his County team only started playing when he was 12!
We usually train girls and boys in separate groups as they tend to prefer it and the coaches can better focus on the needs of the individual. We mix fun with the developing individual skills, and encouraging good passing hockey.
The Club has had a lot of success at U12's level with the U12 boys being County Champions in 2012/13, and team that won 2013/14 County tournament went on come 7th in the National Finals.
The U12s are managed by Mike who provides excellent coaching.
Training is on Saturday morning at 9.45am - 11am. We also play competitive matches on Sundays.
While the number of U12 girls is high, we have some spaces for U12 boys. We are keen to hear from boys who have played before or want to give hockey a go for the first time - get in touch and see if hockey is for you! Send an email to the contact on the front page of this website.
