No Subs!!

As my first official game as captain, I was hoping for a nice easy run up. But no - nothing like being thrown in at the deep end!! So despite no subs, a team that had never played together and St Alban's having a squad 4 million (I think it was that - there was definitely a lot of them!!) we had a fantastic game. Usual faffing about in the D in the first half, rather than just hitting it HARD, meant we were only 2-0 up at half time. Oranges provided by Holly clearly did the trick and Ella and Lucy scored 2 brilliant goals each in quick succession and Becky was justly rewarded for all her running up and down the right, with her cross taking a deflection off a St Alban's stick to give her her first goal for Hertford. Devastatingly with their last hit of the game, St Alban's got one back which was not a reflection at all at how well Georgia, Monique and Lulu defended throughout. (We're not bitter at all!)
