Easy defeat in the sunshine for the Ladies 3s!

Well not much to say on this one........beautiful weather and on our home ground for the first time this season! Must have been good luck as the ladies 3s went out fighting from the off. With 3 goals scored in the first 15 minutes Stevenage didn't know what had hit them. They fought on but to no avail with another 3 goals by Hertford by the final whistle. Poor Olivia didn't have much to do in goal!

Great defending from the usual suspects (Diane Shattock and Katie Ward) with help from Bev Smith from the ladies 4s. Strong midfield with Jo Ross Sophie Murphy, Lucie Blackman, Izzy Richardson and Georgie McKenna carrying the ball up the pitch and passing all around the bewildered Stevanage to the forward line to finish it off.

Absolutely delighted ladies. Now 4th in league! All to play for this year :-)

Man of the match went to a well deserved Izzie Wing, who not only scored a lovely goal, but drives the ball into the D from the right wing with power to enable the rest of the forwards to have a shot.
