Mens 4s win 3-1 against Berko 4s

Another match day gone and more smiles all round.

Berko started with the pressure. We struggled to get the ball off them and then struggled to keep it as they had us pressed deep in our own half. Slowly we managed to find our feet and just as the tied of the game was changing we got our first goal. The rest of the half was more even and we managed to create some opportunities and went close a few times. However it was Berkhamsted who got the goal 1 min before half time with neat little deflection from a crash ball into the dee.

The second half saw Hertford have the greater of the possession and pressure on the Berkhamsted goal although the threat was always there of a direct breakaway goal and it wasn't until we got our third to make it 3-1 that we could relax a little.

Well done to George who got voted man of the match. Andy Benson for working really hard and getting is 2 goal reward. Thanks to Doug for steadying the ship with a calm strong stick behind the ball. Well done to Andre for getting a goal on his 4s debut.
