Impressive 2016 Form Continues

The Men's 4's turned up at St Clement Dame school for a critical game in their quest to stay in Division 7 SW. The team of 13, was reduced to 12 at the last minute with the late withdrawal of Andy Benson with some "Man Flu"! :-)

So we start in the first half, and Hertford generally controlled the game, with Luke Godwin giving us the lead midway through the second half, and looked to have some doubled the lead 5 minutes from half time after a quickly taken free hit at the top of the D. But some interesting umpiring decided to disallow the goal and give a bully!

Ricky came out in the second half on the front foot, but Hertford held firm and added to their lead thanks to Mark Voaden and Jared Ford, despite losing Nik Bentley to injury and Tony Morrison (luckily Mr Chairman didn't take the punishment this time!) to a yellow card.

A good win and we move on to Letchy away in two weeks and the continued quest for survival.
