Your intrepid reporter was away this week due to family commitments, injury and general illness so will the report will be quite short this week.
Despite the 3's being short on numbers, they still managed to field a squad of 13 players for the game against St. Albans and although controlling a majority of the possession during the game they struggled to score the goals they required when then chances arose. And St.Albans 6's defended well with the help of their 5th Captain Copeland Hewitt in the side and managed to score 3 goals at the other end.
Despite the defeat, with other favourable results, it is still all to play for in the quest for promotion.
Rickmansworth away next week being the big game.
