3's Complete Double over Champions Broxbourne

The men's 3's season finished on a high with them completing the double over champions and local rivals Broxbourne,, but with Berko beating St. Albans they missed out on back to back promotions.

We starting quickly and a move down the right resulted in James Berry slotting home in the first minute. In a fast paced game Brox drew level half through the first half, but Hertford not to outdone scored twice before half time through Steve Worrall and another from James Berry.

The second half started with Hertford applying the pressure, but the champions started to impose themselves on the game and it required some resolute defending and some good saves from Sam Timms in the goal. Both teams were reduced to ten in the second half with Richard Rawlinson spending time on the side for Hertford,. Brox eventually reduced the arrears from a well worked short corner (Hiskens you need to shout louder), but held to take the win

So the season finished on a high, and good a night out was had later in the day. Promotion a must for next season is a must
