Narrow defeat to Local Rivals Broxbourne

A fairly even first half between the local rivals ended goalless, but the goals started to flow after half time. Brox scored early in the second half, but Hertford responded with a goal from Rebecca Ellis after a cross from Catryn Langley. Broxbourne then scored 3 times without reply to make it 4-1. But Hertford kept plugging away and another Rebecca Ellis goal from a short corner and then another from Jenny Goodson brought the score back to 4-3, but in the last 10 minutes despite looked like the only team to score again, Hertford failed to find the equalising goal and lost an excellent game of hockey
