Thursday Night saw Hertford beat Potters Bar 8-2 in what was a game of 2 halves.
Hertford started brightly but were quickly under pressure from Potters Bars front line who tested Sam Timms in goal numerous times. Hertford settled into the game as the half went on and went in at the break 2-1 ahead thanks to goals from Debutante Ciaran Begg and Matt Earle.
After the break Hertford truly showed how much they have developed as a team since the start of the Summer league. They dominated much of the second half only conceding 1 goal and scoring another 6. It was a tough game which had to be battled hard in the middle of the pitch but thanks to perfect performances from middle men Ian Dunnett and Tom Evans, Potters Bar rarely threatened.
Their only clear chances came on the break which saw them miss a 4 on 1 opportunity.
Goals from Matt Earle, Clive Insole, Finn Kennedy and Ben Cooper saw Hertford on their way to another victory and looking forward to Broxbourne next Friday.
