Hertford Men barely moved through the gears to record a double figure win against Harlow. In humid conditions, Hertford found the net seven times in the first half with notable goals including a soaring strike from Will Harris at a short corner, a drag flick from James Begg and penalty stroke won and converted by Joel Forrester. The second half was played at an even slower pace with tired legs and lack of positional discipline only contributing an extra 3 goals to finish a 10-0 win. The scoreline could have been higher for Hertford, but credit to Ian Pledger who had a number of saves to make including a few one-on-ones that required quick and physical reactions.
