Comfortable Win Against Bar

Hertford dominated the game against local rivals Potters Bar in the Broxbourne Summer League and completed a 5-1 win.

The first half started well with Ben Cooper giving Hertford an early lead. Hertford continued to control possession with Nick Downer and Ben Tootell holding the midfield with Gregg Bazley sitting in front of the back three. Hertford failed to convert a couple of short corners before Ben Cooper added a calm second just before the break.

The second half started with Potters Bar on the front foot, waking up Pledge for a couple of minutes, but he was able to back to sleep after a while (Probably explains the last minute goal).

Hertford held the second half well with Nick Downer having to go off injured, thanks to an ensure performance from the back three, and they continued to add more goals on the break thanks to Joel Forrester, James Harris and Will Harris.

Unfortunately Ian Pledge, failed to wake from his slumber and conceded a last second goal and proceeded to have a "Neuer toys out of pram moment"

Hertford moved into third place after this win and with Harlow next week will be looking to close in on WGC.
