This seemed to have done the trick as we started off brightly on Sunday against a well oiled Wapping side who were out for revenge after we beat them at their place in the fist half of the season.
Unfortunately we went two down within a ten minute period halfway through the first half which was not reflective of the way the game was going.
All the hard work, passion and strategic planning started to bear fruit as we managed to claw a goal back from a short corner rebound tapped home by Ian Dunnett.
Five minutes later we were back on a level playing field at 2-2 with some good work from Will Harris leading to a tap in for Joel Forrester. We went into the break full of momentum and confident of pressing forward.
A resurgent James Badger-Harris was a constant threat to the Wapping defence and won a number of short corners and created a number of chances but Hertford were unable to capitalise. As we pushed on Wapping again scored through an unmarked forward on the back post and then in the dying minutes scored another as we pressed on.
A poor result but a much better and confident performance
