Ladies 4s
Not much to report here but a 4-2 loss the Ladies 4’s against Bedford 7’s

Men’s 1s
The Men’s made the short trip to Oaklands and came away with a comfortable 3-1-win, match report HERE

Men’s 2s
Unfortunately, the Men’s 2’s were without a game as Broxbourne were unable to raise a side, but the walkover win moved the 2’s to the top of the league with Stortford losing.

Men’s 3s
The Men’s 3’s hosted a strong Letchworth team at Queenswood School and with a combination of the goal frame and Geoff Hopkins, managed to only be trialling by 1 at the break. Against the run of play the 3’s scored the next goal after the break, through a deflection by Nick Metcalfe from a short corner, but ultimately Letchworth stepped up and secured a 4-1 win.

Men’s 4s
The 4’s also travelled to Oaklands for an early start against an unbeaten St Albans M6’s side, despite this they took an early lead through Lawrence Robinson deflection off a short corner. They conceded late in the first half when an attacker’s deflection into a defender’s face was deemed ok and the rebound knocked in. The second half started poorly with neither team able to take any real control of the game and then through some unfortunate deflections in the D, St Albans scored 2 quick fire goals to lead 3-1. The 4’s recovered well and pushed Albans back, and managed a second late consolation from Doug Ashworth which came just a little two late

Men’s 5’s
The men’s 5’s made the long trip up the A1 to Shefford and came back with all 3 points and a 4-goal win. Match Report still to be loaded to the website

Men’s 6’s
The 6’s made the shorter trip to Trent Park, and continued their good form with a win and kept their place at the top of the table. Read the match report HERE

Men’s 7’s
No game this week due to the odd number of teams in the League

Boys U10
The boys found themselves in an A team competition, without their A Team player who played for the U12 Bucks

The boys were at Simon Balle for a triangular tournament with St Albans and Old Loughtonian’s, they started with a 1-0-win Vs Albans which was more comfortable than it looked with the boys controlling possession. Against Old Lought’s they lost 4-0 with 2 goals coming in the last few minute, but plenty of positives to take from the performance

Girls U14
Won 4-0 Vs Old Loughtonian’s and lost narrowly to St Albans 1-2, no details of the scorers

Boys U16
The Stags travelled to Blueharts with just the bare eleven and lost both games to Letchworth 4-0 and Blueharts 5-1, Zac Henderson-Lea scoring the goal.

The Bucks also had a tough day losing 8-0 to Blueharts, not helped with having no goalkeeper

The U16 Girls played a triangular tournament at Old Loughtonian’s, beating Cambridge City 2-0 with Izzy Earle scoring both and losing by the same score line to Old Loughtonian’s – excellent team performances with the team made up with of several U14 Girls
