Match Preview

G'day sports fans!
Today is match day 5 of the league season and the 3rd XI play Luton Town 2s away at Challney High School for Girls, Addington Way, Luton LU4 9FJ with a 10:30 push back.
Note: Please bring AWAY kit of WHITE Shirts, black shorts,WHITE Socks (because Luton Town HC play in Red/Black/Red).

On any other Saturday a pre-09:00 meet time may be considered unsociable but today England play Australia in the 2019 Rugby World cup, kicking off at 08:15 - so it gives an opportunity to see some of the game at the clubhouse before we leave. The challenge will be managing to watch the second half later without knowing the score to retain an element of suprise. Just go easy on the bacon sandwiches and pre-match refreshments!

Luton 2s are one place and 2 points above the 3s.
On average they've scored 2 goals but conceded more than 2 goals a game, so have a slightly negative goal difference. Hopefully the 3s can capitalise on that, use the impetus of last weeks win to score enough goals for victory today to give us a positive goal difference, leapfrog Luton 2s and climb up to mid-table in the league.
