Dan Fox is a double Olympian with 164 caps for England and Great Britain. He captained Great Britain in the 2015 World league Finals in Raipur and was awarded The UK Sports Writers’ Player of the Year title in 2016 and is part of the England Hockey Advanced Coaching Programme.

The sessions are divided into the following:-

Coach ED 1.0 (3 hours)
An introduction to delivering outstanding coaching sessions made up with Teaching the Basics, Captivating Kids and Coaching Through Gameplay. Great ideas for coaching hockey at all levels and for all coaches. This course is similar in structure to England Hockey ‘Engaging Games for Children’ and teaches the same core coaching principles.

Coach ED 2.0 (6 hours)
A complete guide for coaches at your school or club: Beginning with Teaching the Basics, Captivating Kids and Coaching Through Gameplay, followed by modules on Attacking and Defending Principles, ideas for coaching talented players and an exciting new module on 7 aside and 11 aside tactics. This course follows England Hockey core coaching principles.

Coaches can opt to attend the full day 6 hour Coach ED 2.0 course (which includes the introductory Coach ED 1.0) OR they can choose to attend just one session. The introductory Coach ED 1.0 course (3 hours) will be held in the morning, with Part 2 (further 3 hours) covering more advanced coaching, taking place in the afternoon session. Cost to attend the full day is just £45 per person, and £25pp to attend one session.
